Angel Ivanov, Vasil Uzunov and Vladislav Shabanski are the new scholarship holders of the nuclear power plant. The young people were selected on account of their good results achieved during the winter semester of the academic year 2019/2020 in their majors: “Thermal Energy and Nuclear Energy”, at the Technical University – Sofia, and “Nuclear Engineering and Nuclear Energy” at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. The future nuclear specialists received their certificates from Kozloduy NPP’s CEO Nasko Mihov. Thus, they joined the group of young people who successfully fulfilled the scholarship programme conditions of the nuclear power plant.

Kozloduy NPP provides a scholarship in the amount of BGN 1,000 per semester to each scholarship holder and pays the semester fees at the value of the state-subsidized education until the completion of the respective educational degree. In addition, students may expand their professional training and gain practical knowledge and skills by participating in paid internships conducted under real working conditions at the nuclear power plant. Upon graduation, they will join the team of Kozloduy NPP and will begin their careers in one of the most high-tech areas of Bulgarian industry. In this way, the nuclear power plant once again brings to the fore the important role of investing in human capital and confirms its commitment to the professional development of the next generation of technical specialists.
