‘Kozloduy NPP - New Builds ‘ PLC,

Pursuant to Art. 97, para. 3, in conjunction with Art. 81, para. 1, item 2 of Environmental Protection Act, hereby notify all interested individuals and legal entities that they organize
PUBLIC HEARING MEETINGS
for discussion of
the Report on the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) with all the annexes of the investment proposal:
CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW NUCLEAR POWER PLANT OF THE LATEST GENERATION ON THE SITE OF KOZLODUY NPP
The investment proposal of ‘Kozloduy NPP - New Builds’ PLC envisages design, construction and commissioning of a new nuclear power plant of the latest generation (III or III +), a pressurized water reactor (PWR), with an installed power of 1,200 MW, on the site of Kozloduy NPP.
Public discussion meeting will be held on:
14.11.2013 at 13.00 h in the Art Gallery ‘Prof. M. Varbanov‘ Municipality of Oryahovo, Oryahovo, 10 ’A. Chaprazov‘ Street;
15.11.2013 at 13.00 h in the Municipal Club, Municipality of Mizia , Mizia , 4 ‘Petko Bankov‘ Street;
18.11.2013 at 14.00 h in the Municipality of Valchedram, Valchedrum 18-20 ‘Bulgaria‘ Street;
19.11.2013 at 13.00 h in the Municipality of Hayredin, Hayredin, the Ritual Hall;
11.20.2013 at 10.30 in the House of Culture, Municipality of Kozloduy, Kozloduy, 4 ‘Hristo Botev‘ Street.
The EIA report of the project, together with all of its annexes, including the Report on the assessment of the degree of impact are publicly available on the websites of ‘Kozloduy NPP - New Builds‘ PLC - www.npp-nb.bg/, ‘NPP Kozloduy’ - www.kznpp.org and the following locations:
• The building of the Ministry of Environment and Water (MEW), Sofia, 67 ‘William Gladstone‘ Street;
• The building of the Regional Inspection of Environment and Water (RIEW), Vratsa, 81 ‘Exarch Joseph‘ Street;
• The building of RIEW Montana 4 ‘ Julius Irasek Street, 3rd floor;
• House of Culture, Kozloduy, 4 ‘Hristo Botev‘ Street;
• The building of the Municipality of Kozloduy Street 13 ‘Hristo Botev‘ Street, Room 104 and the buildings of the mayoralties of the municipality, within the 30-km zone around ‘Kozloduy‘ NPP;
• The building of the Municipality of Oriahovo, Oriahovo Street, 15 ‘Andrey Chaprazov‘ Street and the buildings of the mayoralties of the municipality, within the 30-km zone around ‘Kozloduy‘ NPP
• The building of the Municipality of Mizia , Miziya, 25-27 ‘Georgi Dimitrov ‘ Street and the buildings of the mayoralties of the municipality, within the 30-km zone around ‘Kozloduy‘ NPP
• The building of the Municipality of Valchedram, Valchedrum, 18-20 ‘Bulgaria‘ Street and the buildings of the mayoralties of the municipality, within the 30-km zone around ‘Kozloduy‘ NPP
• The building of the Municipality of Hairedin, Hayredin, 135 ‘Georgi Dimitrov’ Street and the buildings of the mayoralties of the municipality, within the 30-km zone around ‘Kozloduy‘ NPP‘
• The buildings of the mayoralties of the villages of Altimir, Bardarski Geran, Galiche and Tarnava as part from the Municipality of Byala Slatina;
• The buildings of the mayoralties of the villages of Malorad, Dobrolevo and Sirakovo as part from the Municipality of Borovan;
• The building of the deputy-mayor of the village of Furen, Municipality of Krivodol;
• The building of the mayoralty of the village of Lehchevo, Municipality of Boychinovtsi;
• The building of the deputy-mayor of the village of Stanevo, Municipality of Lom;
• The building of the deputy-mayor of the village of Beli brod Municipality of Boychinovtsi.
The report on the assessment of the degree of impact – an annex to the EIA Report is also available on the website of the Ministry of Environment and Water at http://www.moew.government.bg/
Statements in writing can be submitted in the buildings of the Municipalities of Oriahovo, Mizia, Valchedram, Hayredin, the Municipality of Kozloduy, as well as in the above listed places where there is access to the EIA report and its annexes, or during the public hearing meetings.
