Maintaining high level of safety culture is a basic element of Kozloduy NPP organisational policy. Safety culture is a combination of organisational features and individual behaviours which indicate that all the issues related to safety are of paramount importance and are addressed in compliance with their significance.
Sustaining and enhancing safety culture is achieved through systematic and long-term actions that include periodic assessment, planning of enhancement measures, active involvement of all the employees in these actions, and fostering an attitude of personal responsibility.
Upholding safety as the main priority, involvement and personal contribution to safety, personal accountability, strive for excellence and continuous learning are the key elements of the company's safety culture. Special emphasis is placed on the development of a system of core values, the personal example of the managers and the contribution of each team member.
